South Carolina finally landed the Powder Springs duo today when Rory Anderson and Marcquis Roberts committed to the Gamecocks. Both players made the announcement just moments after 10:00 am this morning at a ceremony at their high school.
Anderson is a TE prospect who can stretch the field and Roberts is a LB prospect who looks good in run support and seems quick on the outside. Both players could use some additional weight to get ready for SEC play but these are good pickups for South Carolina.
These two commitments should push the total to 28 for the Gamecocks and will wait for Tanner McEvoy and Sheldon Royster tomorrow night. The Gamecocks are still in play for Jadeveon Clowney, Phillip Dukes, Jerrell Adams, and Jacoby Brissett so there's going to be an interesting situation developing with the numbers in the next few weeks.
