Our friends, Gamecock Anthem, were at the South Carolina/Manhattan game to witness the victory by South Carolina over the Jaspers by a score of 7-0 on Friday night.

South Carolina got a gem from pitcher Colby Holmes, who went eight strong innings with nine strikeouts and just one hit. There was a rain delay late in the game during the eight inning but South Carolina stood strong when Patrick Sullivan struck out two batters in the ninth inning to seal the victory for South Carolina.

Be sure to check out the post-game interviews with the Gamecocks and get prepared for Saturday's rivalry bash against Clemson at 4:00 p.m. on ESPNU.
