Steve Spurrier may not be the biggest fan of place-kickers but he's adding a few more options to his arsenal this fall.

The Gamecocks were able to land kickers Max Huggins and Elliott Fry this past Wednesday on National Signing Day.

Huggins, a North-South selection kicker from Myrtle Beach, put up some big numbers this past season. He was 13-17 on field goals, including a long of 57 yards, and was also 43-49 on extra points. Huggins also punted for Myrtle Beach and averaging just under 40 yards per punt.

Fry is a prospect that Chris Sailer, a renown kicking expert, thinks was worthy of a Division 1-A scholarship. Fry was described as a player with a big leg who has excellent technique and consistency.

South Carolina is looking to replace senior kicker Adam Yates this season and will have a variety of options like Landon Ard, Nick St. Germain and now Max Huggins and Elliott Fry.

Both players will be preferred walk-ons at South Carolina.
