Former South Carolina offensive lineman Kenny Davis was arrested with third degree criminal sexual conduct after turning himself into authorties late Thursday night.
The incident is said to have occurred at Davis' apartment after a late-night at Five Points in the Columbia area.
Davis was told his scholarship would not be renewed back in April and hasn't participated in team activities since. He was still listed on the USC spring roster from back in April but the university confirmed that he was no longer on the team.
Davis has seen little playing time since arriving in Columbia where he starred at Newberry High School. Davis was originally a defensive lineman but was switched over to the offensive side of the ball.
Davis has been released on a $20,000 surety bond.
