Dawn Staley continues to add star talent to the Gamecocks as she picked up one of the biggest recruits in the country in five-star Jatarie White.

White is the number seven-ranked player in the country according to ESPN and is considering the number one player at her position. She's got a who's who list of offers from teams like North Carolina, Texas, Ohio State and Tennessee but ultimately decided on Dawn Staley and the Gamecocks.

It didn't take White long to realize that South Carolina was the place for her. She just recently made her official visit to Columbia the weekend of November 3rd and immediately will add a post presence for the Gamecocks the instant she steps foot on campus.

Here's a recent evaluation from ESPN on White from this past summer:

Strong, agile and aggressive center finishes vs. contact, catches and completes the play; mobile in uptempo game, executes in traffic with consistent results; the premier low-post finisher in the Class of 2014.

She'll be a perfect fit for Dawn Staley's basketball team.

White is the fourth commitment and third five-star recruit to commit to Dawn Staley for the 2014 class, which includes local product Kaydra Duckett from Dreher High School as well as Bianca Cuevas from New York. The fourth commitment is three-star guard Doniyah Cliney from New Jersey.

While this class is already one of the best likely in South Carolina women's history, it could get even better. The Gamecocks are hoping to land the number one-ranked player in the country in A'ja Wilson from Heathwood Hall in Columbia. South Carolina is in excellent position before, and with White committing, it could have possibly pushed the Gamecocks to the front of the list for Wilson.

What a huge pickup for Dawn Staley and the Gamecocks as they continue to build what looks like a potential powerhouse program in women's college basketball.
