South Carolina has been hit with the transfer bug.

First, it was quarterback Tanner McEvoy who decided to transfer from the Gamecocks at the beginning of the week and now another player is set to leave the school.

Cornerback Cadarious Sanders has decided to transfer from South Carolina in hopes of landing more playing time elsewhere. Sanders is headed to Murray State to continue his football career.

Sanders, the redshirt sophomore from LaGrange, Georgia, came to the Gamecocks in 2010 where he sat out his first season and saw action in eight games making four tackles in 2011. He was listed as the number two cornerback behind Victor Hampton heading into fall practice.

The timing of this transfer definitely hurts the Gamecocks as the injuries have begun to mount at the cornerback position.

Freshman Rico McWilliams is lost for the season with a knee injury while senior Akeem Auguste has already missed some practice time with a groin injury. Auguste has missed time over his career with various injuries so the fact that he has already been hit with an injury certainly puts pressure on the next guy to step up and fill a void.

Sanders was a three-star recruit out of high school.
