If you can find a preseason watch list without Marcus Lattimore or Jadeveon Clowney on it, I'd like to see it.

Lattimore and Clowney received more preseason honors recently as both players were named to the Walter Camp Award Watch List and Lattimore was named to the Doak Walker Award Watch List.

The Walter Camp Award is given annually to the nation's best college football player. There are 50 nominees for the "Players To Watch" for the award this year and both Lattimore and Clowney find themselves on this list.

The Doak Walker Award is given to the nation's best running back and finds Marcus Lattimore among six SEC players on this year's list. Lattimore is returning from a knee injury that cut short his 2011 season but all reports indicate that he's basically 100% and ready to go when fall camp opens in a few short weeks.

It's a testament to see both of these players honored so much already this preseason. It shows what type of talent both individuals have and how they are perceived across college football.

South Carolina is lucky to have these two student-athletes on their team.
