If you had doubts about Stephon Gilmore leaving early for the NFL Draft, those doubts were just silenced by the Buffalo Bills.

Gilmore was drafted as the tenth pick overall in the first round of the NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills. Gilmore has made an impressive rise up the NFL draft boards of several teams and was widely expected to be a potential early first round draft pick.

The junior cornerback from South Carolina started every game for the Gamecocks from the day he stepped on the practice fields in Columbia. Gilmore is part of the strong 2009 class that is considered the turning point in South Carolina football. He spurned teams like Alabama to stay in-state and play for the Gamecocks.

This versatile player played cornerback, Wildcat quarterback and punt returner for the Gamecocks. He's an athletic player and is built well for the NFL. He's a very smart football player and has the speed and size to keep up with the tough wide receivers in the NFL.

A great pickup for Buffalo and a well deserved moment for Stephon Gilmore!
